Arap Sang,
Mugabe is Africa's double-edged sword. He's the ugly face of repression, naivety, over-blotted ego and backwardness. He represents the pit to which no African leader should sink. He has ruined Africa's name and the African's standing in the international community. He deserves ridicule for his actions and shameless claims in Nairobi. Just one example, it's true that Europe buys our raw products, processes them and sells to Africans (including Mugabe's Zimbabwe!) at inflated prices.
Question is: Why has Mugabe not created the capacity for Zimbabwe to process their own raw materials to finished products? Because he has no ideas. His speech was more of what the leader of opposition should say. Definitely not what a president should be telling us. He has wasted opportunities and now he runs to embrace the Chinese as an antidote against the Europeans/Americans!
Ma me ki am soeet komi gariik tot!
Mugabe belongs in the dark past, his past is in a musuem of misrule and Africa's failed promises.
