Question asked on Kass FM on Mon 21 May 2007

Arap Sang, Hons. Sudi, Lagat, Sirma and Cheboi,

Two Questions

1. Why haven't you been effective in the opposition to an extend that the government has misbehaved with our security, misemployment etc? Should you be in government in order to right the wrongs of this government? Why, in spite of some of you being trained in arguments (Lawyers), you can't effectively curtail the government with legislation?

2. Do you have a plan B if ODM doesn't survive the shaky future prior to the election? Obviously I don't expect an answer in the full glare of the public. But does it bother any of you that we could be in the cold for a long time to come even if we're in government because we lack firmness, assertiveness and a clear agenda? How do you guard against ODM misemployment, by say employing retired citizens like this government is doing? In other words how safe is the Kalenjin in ODM of the future?

" Ma kiyese beekab suuswa"

Of course the answers were a confirmation of the superficial nature of their grasp of ideas! What a shame that even when these guys have a chance to make a name by checking the government, they're busy shoving each other aside to go back to government.
